Working out the science behind MIC
With marine corrosion being a major issue for equipment manufacturers, increasing resource is being applied to research and development in better understanding Microbial Induced Corrosion (MIC).
As biofouling, crevice, galvanic and general corrosion are now being controlled to a greater extent by new material technology such as the Elite Marine Alloys, engineers are beginning to see the importance of understanding MIC.
